This walk follows a part of the Greensand way for 9 1/2 miles.
From Medway take the no 101 Arriva bus to Maidstone then the 10x Stagecoach bus to Hothfield. The 10x bus does a detour from the A20 to a bus stop at the north end of the village, you must walk to the centre of the village and board the 123 Stagecoach bus to Pluckley at the bus stop opposite the village school.
As the 123 bus is not very frequent there may be sufficient time to explore the village and look at Hothfield Church.
